WEDGE CITY

Wedge City is part of the Skyways Interactive exhibit for the new Discovery Lab, which opened this winter. Assembled of thousands of cardboard triangles stacked into sturdy wedges and covered with a foam veneer for safety, it is a 9’x11’ interactive and customizable playscape for museum visitors. The cardboard was sourced through donations from the community, and I held a series of volunteer crafting events to help build the project and allow Tulsans to be a part of their new children’s museum. The end result is an active space that encourages young people to climb, build, and play.
